Seeing the relief and gratitude from patients as we helped protect them from this virus solidified my commitment to home healthcare. I realized that my leadership had to be about creating partnerships and bridging gaps in care, particularly for the elderly and vulnerable populations.

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced is ensuring that my patients not only receive the care they need but also feel a sense of connection and engagement. To overcome this, I developed a holistic approach to care that includes mental stimulation through activities like storytelling, board games, and even community-based events when possible.
